Community Hall Rental

The Highwood Community hall is a bright welcoming facility suitable for smaller weddings, parties, events, sports groups or windups, dance groups and more.

3-hour minimum required for hourly rentals. All rates (except deposit are +GST)

• Monday through Friday or Sunday - $50.00 hour + $400.00 deposit (non-members)
  Monday through Friday or Sunday - $35.00 hour + $400.00 deposit (community members)
• Saturday Flat rate (12 noon start, 11:00pm end)
  $475.00 + $400.00 deposit (non-members)
• Saturday Flat rate (12 noon start, 11:00pm end)
  $350.00 + $400.00 deposit (community members)
• Bereavement – The hall can be booked (availability permitting) for a service up to 4 hours free of charge to Highwood Community Association Members.

Long-term Rentals: 

Large hall - suitable for many different events including dance programs, youth activities, classes, fashion shows, music recitals, paint nights, exercise classes etc. (please note that the space is not a gymnasium)

Studio - is suitable for classroom, yoga or dance type programming. (only accessible by stairs)

Hall Information

The main hall is approximately 9.75m X 17m. (32 X 56’)
The foyer is L shaped with a large coat room approximately 7.6m X 7.6m. (25' X 25’)

Hall capacity is 133 people.

• We provide 6’ rectangular tables and stacking chairs to seat facility capacity. We
  have a few 4’ tables available for additional use.
• The kitchen contains 1 residential stove, 2 microwaves, 1 residential fridge with
  upper freezer and 1 larger cooler.
• Food service is pre-prepared or heat-up only. 
• No grease producing or raw meat cooking isallowed.
• We do not supply corkage, coffee urns, linens, china, silverware or stemware etc.
• We do not offer audio visual equipment.
• The hall does not have air-conditioning.
• If serving alcohol, you must obtain and show a valid liquor license and liquor receipts.
